Mission
still still creates circus and dance performances for theaters and festivals, with a focus on deeply merging dance and circus culture, values and approaches within the performers. 

Through our performances and surrounding activities we contribute to the public idea of what “circus” and “dance” is or can be, rooted in the artistic vision of Marta & Kim. 

We facilitate exchange of knowledge between circus and dance, in the broadest sense. We are committed to open source movement research between practitioners, specifically evolving around partner acrobatics, contemporary dance and contact improvisation.

Vision
The artistic vision of founders Marta and Kim forms the base of all our activities:
We believe in the communicating body, and approach storytelling through movement. We generate our movement vocabulary from a circus and dance training, allowing us to create human configurations that speak to the imagination. These physical metaphors tell rich stories; inviting the audience to relate through emotions and ideas of their own.

We see ourselves, our team, and our audience as sensitive and capable of understanding. By allowing stories to exist in between us, we give them space to move and breathe, and leave people with access to their own participation and creativity. Together we craft each experience in the moment.

Our activities include:

• Touring performances such as Meander, FASE, ENGEL, and Our Arms Grew Together.
• Developing new works like FLUX, set to premiere in 2025.
• Hosting workshops and open-source movement labs focused on partner acrobatics, contemporary dance, and contact improvisation.
• Participating in international collaborations and festivals in Denmark, Finland, Germany, and Norway.

As a newly founded organization (December 2024), the still still Foundation is in its startup phase.

• ANBI status: Under application.
• Annual reports: The first financial report will be published early 2026.
• Key partner funding: The foundation receives financial and production support from Dansateliers for its activities, particularly during the development and touring of new productions.

The board and management of still still adhere to the Code Cultural Governance.

still still follows the most recent Theater and Dance Collective Labor Agreement (CAO) in its remuneration policy. If still still collaborates with partners who operate under a different CAO based on their professional expertise, we adhere to the respective CAO.

Although still still is new, Marta & Kim have been active since 2017, producing internationally successful performances and building a national and international network of collaborators and supporters, from which still still continues to build on.
